Water Sustainability

Why Study Water Sustainability?

Housed in the Center for a Sustainable Water Future, the water sustainability minor gives you valuable and engaging experiences across a diversity of departments. You’ll explore all the complexities of the water sustainability field from a variety of perspectives and disciplines, highlighting how these all play a role in future policy and management decisions.

You will have opportunities to meet and learn from professionals whose work focuses on water. You can also participate in activities and experiences that extend beyond the campus boundaries. This will help you learn in deeper and more meaningful ways and enrich your classroom experience.

Water sustainability is an interdisciplinary program. This means you get to take classes in a variety of different fields and have opportunities to select classes that complement your major. This also helps you pursue your personal career goals.
